These Code signatories are the following National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) and National Olympic Committees (NOCs) acting as NADOs: El Salvador (NADO) Guinea-Bissau (NOC) Haiti (NOC), Korea, DPR (NOC) Sierra Leone (NOC) Virgin Islands (U.S.) (NOC) They have now drafted and submitted to WADA anti-doping rules that are in line with the Code. \"WADA is pleased that the majority of NADOs and NOCs have now put the required rules in place,\" said Sir Craig Reedie, President of WADA. \"It is vital that consistent and quality rules are being practiced in every nation, and across every sport, so that athletes can have confidence that they are being protected by the global anti-doping program,\" Reedie continued. At WADA’s 13 May Foundation Board, these six Signatories were declared non-compliant, having failed to provide WADA with draft rules or any information about their rules drafting process. As stipulated in Article 23 of the Code, WADA reported the declarations of non-compliance to the required governments and the International Olympic Committee. There remain a number of Code signatories (International Federations and NADOs) whose rules are in progress, which means that their rules have been submitted and are being reviewed by WADA; or, that they are undergoing a parliamentary process that may lead to amendments to draft legislation.
