Uzbek weightlifter banned for four years


Uzbek weightlifter Sardor Lapasov has been banned for four years for an anti-doping rule violation, the National Anti-Doping Agency reports.

 

According to UzNado Lapasov tested positive for the steroid Clenbuterol. The sport organisation did not disclose if the athlete was tested out-of-competition or during a competition.

The National Anti-Doping Agency did not disclose when the suspension started.
