RUSADA prepares statement

On the 9th November 2015 the report of the Independent Commission (IC) launched by WADA was submitted for public consideration. At the moment the Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA” is studying the material and preparing its comments.

RUSADA was fully cooperative throughout the investigation carried out by the IC and provided all the relevant clarifications and documents as regards the allegations. Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA” and the National Anti-Doping Rules of the Russian Federation are Codecompliant. RUSADA will have submitted to the Compliance Review Committee all the necessary documentation in support of the current compliance status until the 11th November 2015. The IC’s report questions the status of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency as Code-compliant. Thus, the Committee isto considerboth RUSADA’s materialsand the data of IC’s report. RUSADA will be in a position to provide a comprehensive assessment of the report submitted by the IC after the Code-compliance discussions have been held by the WADA Foundation Board on 17-18 November 2015.
