Salazar and Dr. Brown sanctioned for four years

Colorado Springs, Colo. (September 30, 2019) – USADA announced today that two independent three-member panels of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rendered their decisions in the cases of Alberto Salazar and Dr. Jeffrey Brown, determining that each should receive a 4-year sanction for orchestrating and facilitating prohibited doping conduct while acting, respectively, as head coach of the Nike Oregon Project (NOP) and as a paid consultant for the NOP on performance enhancement and as physician for numerous athletes in the NOP.

American Karate Athlete Orbon Suspended 9 months for LGD-4033

USADA announced today that the karate-athlete Joane Orbon, has accepted a 9-month sanction. Orbin tested positive after using a contaminated supplement.

Coleman cleared of Whereabout failures

USADA announced today that it has withdrawn its charge that USA Track & Field athlete Christian Coleman committed a violation of the whereabouts rules after receiving guidance from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on the interpretation of the current International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI) concerning the date on which a failure to update an athlete’s changed whereabouts information should be considered to have occurred.

Re-analysis of Shuklin’s samples from London 2012 resulted in a positive test for the prohibited substances Dehydrochlormethyltestosterone (oral turinabol).
